Pay: $21.25/hr
Schedule: 12-hour Dupont Schedule (7:00 - 7:00 / rotating days/nights)

Friday Services is currently hiring a Salt Operator for a great manufacturing client. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying busy, and being part of a team that keeps production moving, this could be a great fit. This role is responsible for preparing, filling, labeling, and moving supersacks of finished salt product while keeping the work area clean and safe.

What You'll Be Doing
• Prepare and tie supersacks for current and upcoming shifts
• Set pallets and cardboard sheets in the supersack hopper
• Attach supersacks and start the filling process using the hopper system
• Label completed product and move filled supersacks using a forklift
• Enter production and inventory data into the computer system
• Stage and organize supersacks to keep production running smoothly
• Operate automatic and manual wrapping equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe work area free of salt and debris
• Assist other operators and provide coverage during absences as needed
• Support production with tasks such as filter press washing and general operations

What We're Looking For
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Valid NC Driver's License
• Ability to repeatedly lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Strong organization and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
