Position Summary
The Test Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of applications supporting CMS and Medicaid data systems. This role will implement automated test strategies across cloud-based analytics platforms and enterprise applications while supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks for data pipelines.
- Validate system functionality, performance, and data integrity for applications processing CMS and Medicaid data.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Develop load and performance tests to evaluate system scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and DevSecOps teams to identify defects and ensure rapid resolution.
- Maintain test documentation, scripts, and test data management processes.
- Participate in system validation activities supporting regulatory and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with CMS systems and/or Medicaid data environments.
- Experience testing applications built on cloud-based data analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as:
- Cypress
- Jasmine
- Karma
- Pytest
- Playwright
- JMeter
- Selenium
- Experience developing automated API and UI tests.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing data pipelines and analytics workflows.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data compliance requirements.
