You will serve as a vital link between clients and field operations, fueling the expansion of a thriving division within a woman-owned general contracting firm with a 50-year legacy. How You Will Make an ImpactCoordinate commercial painting projects by managing bid portal processes and preparing comprehensive project startup packages.
Develop a robust clientele base by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with building management and subcontractors to ensure every phase of production meets strict budget and timeline requirements.
Oversee diverse trades including specialty finishes, epoxy, powder coating, and drywall installation to maintain high-quality standards.
Execute critical project close-out procedures, including punch walks and the submission of all necessary administrative documentation.
Facilitate real-time problem solving and logistical support to assist the division in scaling its Southern California operations.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and MS Project.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain high performance in a fast-paced construction environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for high-profile client interaction.
Physical ability to move up to 50 pounds of equipment and safely navigate ladders on job sites.
3+ years of recent experience in commercial tenant improvements and project management.
Proven expertise in plan reading, project scheduling, and accurate profit forecasting.
Direct experience with unit cost, design-build proposals, and general contract regulations.
Background in analyzing subcontractors and qualifying project scopes during the bidding phase.
