About This Position
Paragon Energy Solutions is seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead the execution of complex technical projects supporting the nuclear energy industry. This role is responsible for managing projects from order acceptance through delivery, ensuring commitments to our customers are met on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a disciplined project leader who excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules and risks, and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
This position requires someone who can bring structure, accountability, and proactive problem solving to technically complex projects in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead projects from order acceptance through final delivery, ensuring successful execution of customer commitments.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, milestones, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, production labs, quality, supply chain, and management to ensure project alignment.
Establish clear project schedules and milestones, and actively manage progress against them.
Schedule & Risk Management
Monitor project performance against plan and proactively identify risks or delays.
Implement mitigation plans and escalate issues when necessary.
Ensure project activities are sequenced correctly and resources are aligned to meet delivery targets.
Customer Communication
Serve as the primary interface with customers for project status, deliverables, and schedule updates.
Lead customer project review meetings and provide clear, professional status updates.
Manage changes to scope, schedule, or deliverables through appropriate change management processes.
Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate internal documentation, project deliverables, and manufacturing release packages required for project execution.
Work with procurement and supply chain teams to support vendor coordination and purchase order execution.
Ensure project documentation and deliverables meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Drive collaboration across engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams.
Lead internal project reviews to ensure alignment and resolve issues quickly.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
5+ years of project management experience leading technical or engineering projects
Strong ability to manage complex schedules, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion in a structured and disciplined manner
Preferred
Experience in the nuclear energy, power generation, or highly regulated industries
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience working within a quality-controlled manufacturing or engineering environment
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project or similar)
