Summary:
The Director of Training for Club Pilates is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of training programs that support instructor excellence, franchise success, and consistent brand delivery across the global Club Pilates network. This role ensures that instructors, studio leaders, and franchise partners are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to deliver a best-in-class member experience while maintaining the integrity of the Club Pilates method.
The Director of Training oversees the design and evolution of instructor education, certification pathways, and studio training resources. This leader works cross-functionally with franchise operations, brand leadership, and corporate teams to ensure training programs align with business objectives, operational standards, and the long-term growth of the brand.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the department meets monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals, along with personal revenue goals.
- Strategize future growth of the Teacher Training program, assessing and analyzing promotions, outreach, marketing, and sales processes
- Oversees Managers of Training, ensuring they are coached on a weekly basis to meet sales goals.
- Manages the Teacher Training sales process for franchise owners. This can include marketing strategies, sales processes, and program execution.
- Supports marketing with national campaigns for Teacher Training.
- Supports internal sales by working leads and writing agreements.
- Train franchise partners and staff on how to implement sales and marketing recruiting strategies for generating Teacher Training leads and converting them to sales. Training includes but is not limited to best practices on running an informational session, following up on leads, closing leads, sales goal setting, overcoming objections, studio syllabus, and planning to actual program execution.
- Work with presales studios to set up initial Teacher Training programs.
- Create and update relevant training SOPs and training documents.
- Assist studios with participant problem solving and customer service.
- Manage participant-facing customer service issues and requests.
- Manage corporate accelerated training programs and the facilities.
- Manage refund requests.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 7–10 years of leadership experience in a franchise-based or multi-unit fitness/wellness brand.
- Proven track record in Sales Leadership: Experience having managed a revenue-generating department.
- Curriculum & Program Design: Experience scaling a certification or vocational training program across a global or national network.
- Pilates Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Pilates industry is not required but preferred.
- Franchise Operations: Experience "training the trainer" on how to sell and market. Must understand the relationship between a franchisor and an independent owner.
- Analytical Proficiency: Ability to analyze lead conversion rates, marketing ROI for TT campaigns, and program performance data to pivot strategy.
- Sales Training Mastery: Ability to create and teach sales scripts, lead-nurturing SOPs, and objection-handling techniques specifically for a high cost educational product.
- Conflict Resolution & Customer Experience: High-level experience managing complex refund requests and "participant problem solving" that involves legal or financial sensitivities.
- Project Management: Experience managing facilities and logistics, scheduling, and budget management.
