Auto Parts Dismantler
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Auto Parts Dismantler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and properly removing high-quality auto parts and usable core components from vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the process. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely dismantle vehicles to remove high-quality auto parts and core components
- Ensure all parts are removed in accordance with safety protocols and company procedures
- Inspect parts for usability and quality, documenting any damages or defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to dismantle vehicles effectively
- Follow environmental and disposal regulations when handling fluids and hazardous materials
- Assist in inventory management by accurately labeling and storing removed parts
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in auto parts dismantling, salvage, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle components and auto parts identification
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Commitment to safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Requirements:Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
· Must have hands-on automotive repair experience.
· May be required to have own set of tools as needed to carry out duties.
Preferred Requirements
· High School Diploma/GED.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions,
and decimals.
· Basic computer skills.
· Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.
· Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions
and procedures.
· Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.
· Uses guidance/guidelines provide by supervisor/manager.
· Assignments/priorities provide by supervisor/manager.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull,
squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time.
· The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work
in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly
wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
· Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
· Frequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust. May occasionally wear personal protective
equipment (PPE) as needed.
· May need to work in cramped spaces that could require getting into awkward positions.
· May be exposed to extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels.
· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
