We are a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization with a rich and evolving culture seeking an Admissions Coordinator to assist with the Women's Residential Program.Organization Type: Non-Profit, Faith-Based, 100+ EmployeesPosition Type: Part-time; UnpaidDepartment: DevelopmentReports to: Special Events and Individual Giving ManagerDirect Reports: NoneHours: 15-20 hours per week, in-person at Administrative Office Position Summary: The Development Intern will gain hands-on experience in various facets of the nonprofit sector, with a focus on fundraising, events, communications, and donor relations. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate with team members on key projects while building a strong understanding of nonprofit operations.Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Event Management & Fundraising:Support event registration and assist with logistics for Wellspring Living’s annual events during the internship termContribute to event planning, execution, and post-event follow-up for three annual eventsDesign event collateral using Canva and assist with event promotionAid in the development of the Young Professionals program, including researching potential membersResearch and identify corporate sponsorship opportunitiesAssist with coordinating third-party events across Atlanta to support Wellspring Living’s missionDatabase & Donor Services:: Assist the Development Coordinator with donation acknowledgment letters and mailingSupport the tracking and reporting of in-kind donations through PurposityMaintain and update donor records in SalesforceProfessional Qualifications & Skills :Currently pursuing/recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, social work, business, or a related fieldStrong interest in learning about the nonprofit sector and passion for Wellspring Living’s missionProficiency in Google Drive, Canva, and other relevant toolsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyExperience with data entry and database managementSelf-starter with excellent time management skillsFlexible, adaptable, and able to work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong research and analytical abilitiesReliable transportation required (intern may be expected to travel between different locations)*Please note that these responsibilities provide a general overview, but the development intern may also be assigned additional tasks as needed.Internship Benefits & Opportunities: Hands-on Nonprofit Experience: Gain valuable, real-world experience in fundraising, event planning, and communications, contributing directly to the success of Wellspring Living’s programs.Academic Credit: This internship can be tailored to meet the specific hours and learning objectives required for academic credit in fields such as nonprofit management, social work, business, and communications (check with your academic advisor for eligibility).Mentorship & Career Growth: Work closely with experienced professionals who are passionate about nonprofit work and social change.
