JOB SUMMARY

At HCW Hospitality, maintaining excellence is key to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Chief Engineer, you’ll lead our engineering team in keeping our hotel running smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will ensure that every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and seamless stay.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Chief Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the hotel. In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing direction and support.
• Oversee all maintenance and repair projects, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of hotel assets.
• Monitor energy usage and manage utility systems to optimize efficiency.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive leader who takes pride in maintaining excellence. To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance management, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
• A commitment to safety, with experience in OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
