We are seeking a Director of Client Development to help lead and scale enterprise growth for a large, multi-disciplinary, multi-market AEC firm. This is a Senior Leadership role reporting to the Chief Development officer and working in close partnership with the CEO, Marketing Director, Business Development leaders, and Regional leadership.
This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven growth leader who thrives at the intersection of enterprise startegy, capture planning, business development, marketing, CRM and client expereince. You will operate as both a strategist and hands-on leader, helping translate vision into execution across regions, marekts and business lines.
What you’ll do:
Enterprise & Growth Strategy
- Advance enterprise growth strategy in alignment with corporate, regional, and market plans.
- Translate strategy into measurable initiatives, metrics, and accountability structures.
- Provide executive insight through pipeline forecasting, profitability analysis, and business intelligence.
National Capture Planning & Business Development
- Lead development and execution of a national capture planning framework.
- Standardize capture processes, win themes, and pursuit strategies to improve win rates and ROI.
- Coach technical and regional leaders in relationship-based selling and pursuit leadership
Strategic Growth Office (SGO) Leadership
- Serve as a core leader within the Strategic Growth office
- Align strategy, marketing, business development, CRM, and client experience under a unified system.
- Act as an advisor to business line and regional leaders on growth execution.
CRM, Analytics & Growth Infrastructure
- Provide leadership for enterprise CRM strategy, adoption, and data integrity.
- Oversee dashboards and analytics for pipeline health, capture effectiveness, backlog and client performance.
Client Experience & Market Differentiation
- Champion a firmwide Client Management Program incorporating feedback and win/loss insights.
- Partner with marketing to strengthen brand alignment, messaging, and market differentiation.
Government Affairs & External Engagement
- Support Government Affairs strategy aligned with Long-term market and capture objectives.
- Increase national visibility through industry involvement and thought leadership.
Mergers & Acquisitions Support
- Support M & A growth initiatives, including go-to-market alignment and post-merger integration.
What you will bring:
- 20+ Years of leadership experience in AEC or professional services.
- Proven success in enterprise strategy, capture planning, business development, and marketing leadership.
- Experience building and scaling enterprise growth and capture systems.
- Strong expertise in CRM, analytics, and date-driven decision- making.
- Executive-level communication skills with senior leadership and boards.
