The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships with key customers within the assigned territory/market. The SAM will drive adoption of the full Cytek Biosciences Research Use Only (RUO) portfolio by positioning application-focused solutions that support customer needs and generate sustainable revenue growth.
This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify strategic opportunities, develop account strategies, and accelerate market penetration of Cytek technologies.
Ideally candidate will be based in the San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, or Seattle locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify and prioritize strategic key accounts aligned with Cytek Biosciences corporate and commercial objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Strategic Account Plans, including defined solution offerings, growth initiatives, revenue and profitability targets, and implementation timelines.
- Lead and coordinate a cross-functional account team (e.g., Scientific Affairs, R&D, Marketing, and Commercial Operations) to develop and execute strategic opportunities with key customers.
- Establish clear ownership, milestones, and deliverables to ensure execution of account strategies and achievement of growth objectives.
- Drive execution of Strategic Account Plans to deliver incremental revenue, expand market share, and strengthen long-term strategic partnerships.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Immunology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in life sciences or clinical markets, with demonstrated expertise in flow cytometry.
- Proven success selling into flow cytometry and immunology markets; experience managing large or strategic accounts strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

- This position may require travel up to 70% within the assigned territory.
- The individual must be able to travel via commercial airlines, trains, and rental vehicles to customer sites.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for prolonged periods during product demonstrations and events.
