About This Position

Customer Service Representative

D2 Flight Academy (D2GS) is looking for a full-time customer service rep and scheduler for the flight school who can balance high-touch hospitality with the technical precision of aviation operations to act as the "face" of the school, managing everything from complex flight logs to facility cleanliness.
Core Responsibilities
  • Scheduling & Dispatching: Use systems like Flight Schedule Pro to coordinate student and instructor flights. This involves monitoring weather, aircraft maintenance status, and instructor availability.
  • Data & Program Management: Maintain accurate pilot records, including medical certificates, FAA ratings, and TSA authorizations. You will track program progress and input critical flight time data.
  • Sales with Integrity: Act as the first point of contact for prospective students. This requires explaining complex flight training products (Part 61 vs. Part 141) and guiding them through enrollment honestly and transparently.
  • Customer Experience: Greet clients warmly, manage phone and email inquiries promptly, and provide "concierge-style" service for pilots and passengers.
  • Facility Upkeep: Maintain the "show-ready" status of the terminal, which includes light cleaning (vacuuming, dusting) and keeping student areas stocked.
Essential Skills & Traits
  • Multi-tasking Under Pressure: The ability to handle radio communications, phone lines, and in-person check-ins simultaneously is critical in a busy hangar environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Schedulers must be "like a duck"—remaining calm and agile when weather or maintenance issues force last-minute changes.
  • Ethical Salesmanship: Prioritize building long-term trust over a quick sale by matching students with the training products that truly fit their goals.
  • Detail Orientation: Precision is a safety requirement in aviation; small errors in logbooks or scheduling can have significant regulatory impacts.
Candidate Availability Requirements
  • Flexible Scheduling: As flight schools are often 7-day operations, the candidate must be available for both weekday and weekend shifts to support student flying patterns.
