LPN - 1 EAST B- OBSERVATION/OUTPATIENT at Saint Bernards Medical Center – JONESBORO, Arkansas

Skill and proficiency in applying the technical skills of practical nursing. Such proficiency is acquired through completion of an approved Practical Nurse Program. Knowledge of human growth and development necessary for assessment, range of treatment and care of patients appropriate to the patient’s age as acquired through formal education course work. Current licensure or permit as a Practical Nurse in the state of Arkansas. Meets minimum standard set for pharmacy exam.

Knowledge of hospital policies\procedures, practices, techniques, and equipment as acquired through orientation.

Normal hospital environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Frequent exposure to fumes, odors and water. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching.
