- Lead negotiations for hospital and health system contracts, aligning with strategic goals.
- Manage negotiation of rates and terms for provider agreements.
- Prepare contracts, amendments, and rate analyses.
- Facilitate accurate provider setup and contract configuration.
- Develop innovative, value-based approaches for contracting.
- Coordinate with internal departments for contract compliance.
- Act as a subject matter expert on various contracts.
- Recruit providers to ensure network adequacy.
- Ensure contracts meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain relationships with provider executives and internal customers.
- Relevant bachelors degree with 5-7 years of work experience.
- 3-5 years of contracting experience in a managed care setting.
- Strong knowledge of reimbursement methodologies.
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and value-based reimbursement.
- 5-7 years experience in provider recruitment and customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of the managed care industry.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
