- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where ideas are discussed and challenged openly
- Deliver new features and improve reliability of core services including customer intake and application screening
- Identify and resolve major system bottlenecks or flaws in business logic proactively
- Take ownership of core product problems and develop data-driven solutions
- Work across the stack to solve problems without relying on others
- Lead a team of developers to engineer and develop software solutions
- Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- 10+ years of related software development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or similar)
- Experience in designing and implementing distributed systems and microservice architectures
- Strong understanding of design patterns, reliability, and cloud engineering paradigms
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Track record of learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust
