Key Responsibilities
  • Design and layout sprinkler systems using AutoSprink, HydraCAD, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam

  • Perform system calculations to ensure NFPA compliance and design integrity

  • Review construction documents, architectural drawings, and specifications

  • Coordinate closely with general contractors, engineers, and other trades

  • Support project teams by assisting with material delivery coordination and installation sequencing

  • Conduct field site visits for design verification and constructability assessments

  • Apply knowledge of NFPA standards, hazard classifications, and building codes to each design

  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for project files

Qualifications
  • Proficiency with AutoSprink, AutoCAD, or related design software

  • Familiarity with fire protection design principles and construction coordination

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction contracts

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel

  • Clear communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

  • Valid drivers license required

  • Desire to pursue NICET certification in layout of sprinkler systems (support provided)

Schedule
  • Full-Time

  • Occasional fieldwork or travel may be required for site verification
