Housing Representative at Boise City Housing Authority – Boise, Idaho

Job Title: Housing Representative Organization: Boise City / Ada County Housing Authorities (BCACHA) Type: Full-Time, 10-hour shifts from Monday Thursday Location: 1001 S. Orchard St., Boise, Idaho 83705 Closing Date: Open until January 30, 2026

Do you have a passion for public service? The Boise City / Ada County Housing Authorities are currently seeking a Housing Representative to join our team. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 350 low-income households enrolled in the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Process eligibility verifications and rent calculations for program participants Prepare all necessary documentation and maintain accurate records in the database Execute contracts and leases in adherence to program guidelines Address landlord-tenant disputes and investigate claims of fraud Communicate program rules and regulations to participants, landlords, and the public Conduct annual and interim re-certifications for enrolled households Prepare regular and special reports as required Perform other duties related to the position in a general office environment

Qualifications: Preferred one-year experience in a human services program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Valid Idaho State driver's license HCV Occupancy Specialist Certification (must be achieved within 6 months of employment date)

Experience: Case management: 1 year (Preferred)
