Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to manage key accounting, banking, and financial reporting activities. This role supports daily cash management, month-end and quarter-end close processes, financial analysis, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid accounting foundation, and the ability to drive process improvements across multiple finance functions. This role reports directly to the CEO.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
Daily
· Reconcile multiple bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Deposit checks and initiate electronic transfers as required.
· Complete credit requests, banking documentation, and customer/vendor inquiry forms.
Weekly
· Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments.
· Prepare and maintain short-term cash flow forecasts.
Monthly
· Support the month-end close process and prepare assigned financial reports.
· Calculate and process commissions.
· Reconcile bank and payroll accounts.
· Participate in month-end results discussions with management.
Quarterly
· Prepare financial materials for Board reporting.
· Complete quarterly bank reporting and covenant compliance documentation.
· Review inventory balances and variances.
· Support financial planning and analysis activities.
Annually
· Support the annual budgeting process.
· Coordinate with banking partners and assist with renewals or facility reviews.
· Review and assess insurance proposals.
· Conduct expense analysis and identify savings opportunities.
Ad Hoc
· Lead or support process improvement initiatives and operational cost improvement, especially around reporting and automation.
· Provide financial support for acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic projects.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (public accounting experience a plus).
· Strong understanding of GAAP, cash management, and financial reporting.
· Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
· Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
· Plus: prior experience in manufacturing or fabrication environment
