Supplies Coordinator - M – F 5:30 – 9:30 at York Union Rescue Mission Inc – York, Pennsylvania

Essential Duties:

• Assist with receiving, sorting, categorizing, inventorying, and storage of donated items
• Inspect donations for apparent damage, expirations dates, and handle any discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and food are delivered
• Maintain, count, and distribute/deliver inventory on a regular basis and ensure sufficient supplies are available for operations
• Attends and actively participates in staff meetings

Other Duties:

• Any other duties required by supervisor
• Serve as back up Truck Driver
• Maintains confidentiality of all data, including guests, employee, and operational data

Education/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience using a forklift and pallet jack
• Experience driving a box truck and ability to obtain DOT Card
• Must have excellent and demonstrated interpersonal relations and both written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, computer input, and database management

• Ability to walk, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing 100 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Excellent reading and writing skills; typing/computer usage; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures;
• Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
