About This Position
Supervising Senior Tax Associate - Tallahassee, FL
Who: An experienced tax professional with at least four years of public accounting experience and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
What: Prepares complex tax returns, supports tax planning, mentors staff, and performs diverse tax and accounting assignments with a high standard of technical accuracy.
When: Full-time position available immediately.
Where: Tallahassee, FL

Position Overview:
The Supervising Senior Associate, Tax prepares complex tax returns, assists with tax planning, supports staff associates, conducts tax research, and provides exceptional client service while contributing to team growth and maintaining firm standards.
This role offers the flexibility to work remote for candidates residing in Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
- Analyze tax issues and provide well-supported conclusions.
- Prepare quarterly and year-end estimates for client tax planning.
- Perform varied accounting, auditing, and tax assignments under leadership direction.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills, high work quality, and adherence to firm standards.
- Meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff associates.
- Begin developing strong client relationships through reliable, responsive service.
- Participate in firm training to further technical development.
- Deliver excellent client service through accuracy, timeliness, and attentiveness.
- Conduct tax research and utilize firm reference tools effectively.
Qualifications:
- Meets all requirements to sit for the CPA exam (CPA preferred).
- 4+ years of public accounting experience with progression in tax return complexity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize heavy workloads.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
