• Telephones

• Assistance with scheduling on occasion
• Rooming patients
• Obtaining and documenting patient vitals and histories.
• Preparing patients for exams.
• Assisting physician (provider) with exams and minor procedures
• Injections
• Stocking, monitoring and cleaning exam rooms/work area and patient waiting areas.
• Various other duties as assigned/needed.

Requirements:

• Must be Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse will also be considered for this position.
• Previous medical office experience is REQUIRED.
• Proficient computer skills with Electronic Medical Record experience.
• Knowledge of medications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to function in organized manner within a very busy, fast-paced setting.
• Multi-tasking skills required.
• High focus on quality patient care.

As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.
