Southeast Sales Manager (Remote – Southeast Territory)

Remote (Must reside in Southeast U.S.)
Full-Time | Exempt
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel Required: 35–40%

Salary + Compensation

  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $90,000 per year (DOE)
  • Commission Plan: Competitive, uncapped commission plan
  • Car Allowance Provided

Job Summary

Mickey Truck Bodies is seeking a results-driven Southeast Sales Manager to manage an established book of business while driving new customer growth throughout the Southeast territory. The territory includes Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. This role will focus on selling the full Mickey Truck Bodies product portfolio, including:

  • Beverage Bodies
  • Van Bodies
  • Refrigerated Bodies
  • Parts

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced territory sales professional with strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts across the Southeast territory
  • Develop new business opportunities with dealerships and national accounts
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Meet or exceed sales volume, profitability, and growth targets
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Finance, Operations and Engineering)
  • Maintain customer price books and coordinate vendor pricing
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and support issue resolution
  • Represent Mickey Truck Bodies professionally in the field and at industry events

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and territory sales management experience
  • Proven ability to grow customer accounts and close new business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote sales role
  • Consultative selling mindset with strategic planning ability

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business Management, Marketing, Sales Management, or similar degree.
  • 5-7 Years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Management, Sales Management, and Marketing.
  • Truck Equipment / Body Sales experience preferred.

Travel Requirement

Approximately 35–40% travel within the Southeast territory. Attending yearly trade shows throughout the United States.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to routinely sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear, use hands and fingers to keyboard, turn handles, feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee occasionally moves around the office and enters the manufacturing areas.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
