JOB OVERVIEW:
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day janitorial operations for our client and ensuring a safe and professional work environment.

Job Location: Burnaby, BC
Shift Type: Full Time
Wage range:$80,000 - 90,000/ yearly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage daily site operations to ensure all contractual and client standards are met
  • Supervise, coach, and support a team of up to 40 employees, including frontline staff and supervisors
  • Train new hires and support ongoing employee development and performance
  • Build a positive, professional, and safety-focused work environment
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams
  • Manage inventory and supplies efficiently to control costs
  • Address issues proactively and implement practical, risk-aware solutions
  • Handle performance management, corrective actions, and policy enforcement when required
  • Support project work, growth initiatives, or additional sites as needed
  • Provide occasional after-hours support (evenings/weekends) to meet operational needs

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Work-related experience equivalent to a business-related post-secondary diploma
  • Minimum 5 year of related work experience
  • Ability to pass Canadian Criminal Background Check
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office,
  • Understanding of Business Accounting
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Employment Standards Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
