The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The coordinator utilizes a high degree of accuracy in obtaining all registration and financial data in order to provide necessary medical treatment and obtain proper reimbursement for the hospital.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Medical terminology, office procedures, typing skills

Preferred:

• Data entry and customer service experience

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time Evening
• Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm
• Rotating holidays

Essential Functions:

• Communicates with all customers exhibiting excellent customer service skills
• Interviews patients to assure proper scheduling, registration and certification of services on all patients in a timely and courteous manner
• Updates the Master Patient Index as needed
• Utilizes a high level of customer service in all aspects of the job
