About This Position
MD Turbines, Inc an aviation component and turbine engine service provider, is seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk to support the Logistics Department. This role is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining logistics data related to aircraft components, turbine engine parts, shipping documentation, and inventory records.
The Data Entry Clerk plays a key role in maintaining accurate records that support compliance with aviation industry standards, traceability requirements, and internal operational processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and capable of handling sensitive documentation with precision and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter and update logistics data related to aircraft components, turbine engine parts, and repair orders within company databases and internal systems.
Maintain and organize documentation related to incoming and outgoing aviation components, including packing lists, shipping documentation, and receiving reports.
Assist with processing repair order documentation and logistics paperwork related to turbine engine components.
Support the logistics team by tracking shipments, deliveries, and inventory movement of aviation parts and materials.
Ensure all documentation meets aviation traceability and record-keeping requirements.
Assist in preparing shipping documentation including airway bills, packing slips, and export documentation when applicable.
Verify the accuracy of part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and descriptions before entering them into company systems.
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for logistics records.
Assist with inventory record updates and notify supervisors of discrepancies.
Communicate with internal departments including quality control, warehouse, and operations to ensure accurate documentation.
Generate basic logistics reports as requested by management.
Follow company procedures and industry standards related to aviation compliance and documentation control.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high accuracy in data entry.
Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics and aviation operations environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and operational data.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous administrative, data entry, or logistics experience preferred.
Familiarity with aviation parts documentation, repair stations, or turbine engine components is a plus.
Basic understanding of inventory systems or logistics software.
Experience working in an aviation, aerospace, or technical environment.

Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Ability to occasionally lift files or small boxes up to 10–15 lbs.
Frequent use of office equipment and computer systems.
