Office Cleaning Associate I - Part Time at Rochester Electronics – Newburyport, Massachusetts

This Office Cleaning Associate I – Part Time is responsible for keeping work areas, offices, and buildings clean and orderly by using janitorial supplies, removing waste, and performing special cleaning projects, as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming

• General cleaning and dusting in an office setting

• Maintenance of janitor closets

• Emptying trash baskets

• Cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms

• Compile a monthly order list for supplies needed

• Routine maintenance duties as assigned

Preparation, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in janitorial and office cleaning preferred

• Proven track record of reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality

• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally exerting force/pushing/lifting/carrying of items up to 50 lbs., reaching above and below shoulder height

• Frequently walking, standing, twisting, and bending

• Travel between buildings required - preferably by car
