Role Overview:
In this position, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, including:
- Conducting patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans
- Providing education to patients, families, and the broader community on health and wellness
- Coordinating referrals to specialty care and ensuring follow-up
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
- Ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests
- Prescribing medications following IHS formulary guidelines
- Supporting quality improvement efforts and adherence to safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Solid experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Skilled in outpatient care for pediatric and adult patients
- Able to prescribe medications according to IHS policies
- Strong commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care

Requirements:- Must be certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
- 2 years of experience as a Family, Internal Medicine or Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
- Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from any State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Must be Board Eligible or Certified
- Active DEA license
- Must have current BLS
- ACLS, PALS preferred
- Certification of Education - copy of diploma or transcripts
- Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily in the United States
- Must be willing to pass a federal background check
- Must not require visa sponsorship (no visa holders or green card residents)
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
