Position: Concord Sports Team Member

Reports to: Concord Sports Director

Position type: Seasonal, part-time Position

Summary: Assist with a variety of duties to help Concord Sports events run smoothly. Ensuring that athletes and families feel welcome and valued as participants and are being inspired to follow Jesus.

QUALITIES + QUALIFICATIONS

• Uphold Biblical priorities through a growing personal relationship with Jesus.

• Become an active member of FB Concord or be an active member of a local likeminded bible teaching church

• Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.

• Encompass the qualities and characteristics of Concord staff members as outlined in our Staff Values.

• Love of Jesus, sports and children

• Minimum of 18 years old

• Current 1st Aid/CPR and AED certification – or able to acquire

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work a variety of jobs at Concord Sports events: concessions, score table, referee, clean up, etc

• Welcome athletes and families, help answer questions

• Be available to help with cleaning up spills, 1st aid, etc

• Other duties as assigned or required by CS Director or Asst Director

WORKING CONDITIONS Typically, a 1 to 3 -day work week in a gym or field environment. Working with various socio-economic groups, ages and nationalities.
