About This Position

Description:

SUMMARY:

The CCBHC Site Director, reporting to the Vice President of Community Based Services, is responsible for the direction and coordination of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center in SFRC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Implementation and coordination of State and Federal CCBHC requirements.
  2. Ensure that key outcomes are achieved by expanded care coordination with a focus on the social determinants of health (SDOH).
  3. Increase access to services including community behavioral services, medical, and mental health programs including the SFRC core of Substance Use Disorders and Medically Assisted Treatment services, that support diverse populations.
  4. Ensure services are provided in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner.
  5. Establish and regularly convene an Advisory Work Group including individuals with mental and substance use disorders and family members.
  6. Oversee timely collection and submission of required data and evaluations, including NOMS, SPARS, and agency specific data.
  7. Ensure systems and policies and procedures facilitate the smooth operation of the program, both administratively and clinically.
  8. Provide services with a strong behavioral health recovery orientation, cultural sensitivity, and awareness of the unique needs of the population of focus.
  9. Assure timely completion of other grant requirements as indicated.
  10. Communicate effectively with SFRC staff, persons served, and external agencies to coordinate care and data exchange.
  11. Ensures the safe operation of the facility by complying with OSHA and life Safety requirements.
  12. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  1. Thoroughness, communication, planning, project management, risk assessment analysis, resource management and timeliness are key.
  2. Must be able to work well under pressure and demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
  3. Knowledge and skills pertaining to time-effective behavioral health care treatment approaches.
  4. Experience providing services to the grant’s target population including familiarity with relevant culture(s) and language(s).
  5. Experience with federally and privately funded grant operations.
  6. Ability to work with diverse teams of people.
  7. Advanced Excel user.
  8. Familiarity with electronic health record system
  9. Strong written and oral skills are necessary Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  10. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff within the organization and external stakeholders.
  11. Have or ability to obtain and maintain a State of New Mexico Criminal Records Clearance.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or equivalent

2. At least two years' experience managing federal grants

3. Project Management experience

4. Experience with federal grants management and Implementation preferred
