Miltec UV is seeking a full-time Electromechanical Assembler to join our Manufacturing Team.

SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing production processes within our Manufacturing Department, specifically supporting the development and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems and subsystems used in UV Curing equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform manufacturing duties to include making cables, ignition bulbs, ADV Screens, and various other part assemblies.
- Basic machine wiring techniques such as cutting, terminating, soldering, and crimping wire.
- Assemble electronics according to product specifications.
- Assemble electronic devices, tools, and products by following blueprints and using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Assemble and wire lamp housings.
- Kitting magnetrons, RF screens and reflectors.
- Low level testing and associated documentation including MO's, transfers, and travelers.
- Maintain clean work environment.
- Follow published Work Instructions and Procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Learn and comprehend the duties and responsibilities of an Electromechanical Assembler II.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma with at least 2 years' pertinent experience, which must include low voltage wiring.
- Technical training and/or associate's degree in Electronics a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly with electrical / electronic systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of the use of hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
- Excellent manual dexterity in handling of small objects & tools.
- Intermediate math skills, including use of metric system, fractions and decimals.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good eyesight (corrected or uncorrected) and color differentiation ability.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. from floor to bench height
- Ability to access heights, climbing ladders or using lifting equipment
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to continue education
- Understanding 5S / Lean Concepts is a big plus!
Work Hours:
Miltec business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. We offer three optional flexible work schedules:
- Plan A – Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch (40 hours)
- Plan B – Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch OR 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 30-minute lunch (40 hours) – Friday off
- Plan C – Tuesday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch OR 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 30-minute lunch (40 hours) – Monday off
