About the Position:
As a Supplement Sales Associate, you will play an essential role in enhancing the customer shopping experience while contributing to the overall success of the department. You will participate in a variety of responsibilities including merchandising, product selection, and maintaining department cleanliness. Your key responsibilities will also involve assisting customers with their supplement needs, offering exceptional customer service, and ensuring product availability by facing and stocking shelves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with merchandising and organizing supplement products to ensure they are displayed attractively and efficiently.
- Help customers select supplements and medicinal herbs, providing knowledge and advice on product options.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the department, including cleaning shelves, counters, and product areas.
- Face and stock products regularly to ensure items are available and well-presented for customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering recommendations based on customer needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure department goals and customer service standards are met.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in supplement retail sales required.
- Extensive knowledge of supplements and medicinal herbs.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts.
- Willingness to ask questions and learn continuously about our store and the supplement industry.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to perform repeated overhead lifting.
- Ability to operate equipment such as the telephone, intercom system, ordering/pricing handhelds, hand truck, box cutter, PC, and internet search engines safely and effectively.
- Must present a favorable image of Pilgrim's Market through interactions with customers, vendors, co-workers, and the general public.
