POSITION SNAPSHOT

In this role you will serve as the technical owner of FlackTek’s IT infrastructure and cybersecurity environment, ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of all core systems supporting corporate and manufacturing operations. You will act as the highest level of technical escalation, lead IT initiatives, and drive infrastructure strategy while maintaining reliable and secure systems across the organization. This role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic oversight, supporting both end users and enterprise-wide systems. You will also be responsible for building, maturing, and scaling the IT function by establishing standards, improving processes, and developing the foundation for a high-performing IT department aligned with company growth. You will play a critical role in safeguarding company data, optimizing performance, and enabling operational success.

PRIMARY OUTCOMES

System uptime for business-critical infrastructure = 99.9%

Mean time to resolution for IT incidents = defined SLA targets

Successful completion of IT projects on time and within scope = 95%

Endpoint security compliance rate = 98%

Patch management completion rate within defined windows = 95%

User satisfaction score for IT support = 90%

Zero critical security incidents resulting from preventable vulnerabilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide first-contact technical support via phone, email, and in-person

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

Develop and maintain IT documentation, standards, and knowledge base

Manage identity lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding processes

Support system updates, patching, and routine maintenance

Lead cross-functional IT projects from planning through execution

Present infrastructure, security, and system updates to leadership

Implement and improve network, server, and cloud architecture

Manage network segmentation between corporate and manufacturing systems

Oversee lifecycle management of hardware, software, and infrastructure assets

Maintain disaster recovery and backup systems aligned with company standards

Execute patch management and system hardening initiatives

Ensure uptime and performance of all business-critical systems

Implement and manage MFA, conditional access, and identity governance

Monitor EDR systems and respond to security alerts

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability remediation efforts

Administer Active Directory including permissions, policies, and auditing

Manage Microsoft 365 including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID

Support Google Workspace administration and integrations

Maintain ERP and MRP system functionality and integrations

Handle account management including password resets and access requests

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related ?eld preferred or equivalent practical experience

Experience:

12+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience

Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining enterprise systems

Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments preferred

Experience leading enterprise system migrations with controlled execution

Technical Skills:

Advanced Active Directory and Entra ID administration

Microsoft 365 tenant administration and security con?guration

Network con?guration including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and ?rewall management

Endpoint security, vulnerability management, backup, and disaster recovery planning

Experience with virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructure

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Experience:

ERP or MRP system administration experience

Experience working within manufacturing environments

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ticketing systems such as Autotask, ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk

Advanced administration across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Strong customer service mindset with professionalism and patience

Expertise in endpoint security tools and best practices

WORK LOCATION, SCHEDULE & TRAVEL

Role Type: Full Time - Exempt

Location: Onsite, in person in Louisville, CO

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm

Travel: Up to 10% (domestic)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation:

Annual Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
