Responsibilities:

• Drive equipment reliability and maximize up time across all production and utility systems.
• Develop and sustain a best-in-class preventive and predictive maintenance program.
• Lead maintenance operations with a strong emphasis on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support long-term plant growth initiatives, including automation and capacity expansion.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, electrical safety, and machine safety standards.

Maintenance & Reliability:

• Plan, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance.
• Oversee and coordinate all corrective maintenance activities for production and facility systems.
• Establish and lead root cause analysis (RCA) processes to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
• Monitor and analyze key maintenance metrics such as downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and PM effectiveness to drive improvements.

Technical & Equipment Oversight:

• Provide technical leadership for production equipment, particularly within food or bakery manufacturing environments.
• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of critical utilities, including compressed air, steam, and water systems.
• Oversee maintenance and performance of automated systems, including robotics, packaging lines, and material handling equipment.
• Develop and execute predictive maintenance strategies to extend asset life and minimize unplanned downtime.

Projects & Capital Execution:

• Lead facility-related maintenance projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, and construction activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support equipment commissioning, startup, and validation activities for new production lines.

People Leadership & Development:

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams, including supervisors and technicians.
• Train and enhance team capabilities in automation, robotics, and controls troubleshooting.
• Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to achieve business objectives.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of maintenance experience within food manufacturing (preferred), pharmaceutical, or industrial environments.
• 5-7 years of experience in a maintenance leadership or management role.
• Strong technical expertise in manufacturing equipment, utilities, and automated systems.
• Demonstrated success in implementing and improving maintenance and reliability programs.
• Proven leadership ability in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of initiative, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
