G2 HVAC Technician at 1Click Heating and Cooling Inc – London, Ontario

We are looking for a skilled and dependable G2 – Gas Technician to join our growing team in London, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing gas heating equipment and electric heat pumps in residential settings, while ensuring compliance with TSSA regulations and manufacturer standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in installing ductless and ducted heat pump systems 
• Decommission or remove existing gas appliances to be replaced with electric heat pumps 

• Conduct service, maintenance checks, tune-ups, and system inspections 

• Follow all TSSA and Ontario safety codes and requirements 

• Provide detailed service reports and documentation 

• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members 

Required Qualifications

• Valid G2 Gas Technician Certification (Ontario)
  

• 3+ years of experience installing and servicing gas-fired appliances 

• Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record and access to reliable transportation 

• Strong understanding of Ontario gas codes and safety regulations 

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams 

• Physically capable of lifting equipment and working in various environments 

Preferred Assets (Optional)

• Experience with servicing and installing heat pump and refrigeration systems 

• Manufacturer-specific training (furnaces, boilers, tankless water heaters, etc.) 

• WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid, or similar safety certifications
