Pool Server at The Windsor Court – New Orleans, Louisiana

The Windsor Court seeks a skilled and experienced Server to join our team. Associates are expected to prepare food and, serve beverages and meals to guests as regulated by the Louisiana state and federal age requirements, and coordinate The Pool Bar's duties.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve food orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner

- Ensure compliance with state and federal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including The Bar and pool surrounding areas

- Prepare and serve food according to hotel standards.

- Coordinate The Pool Bar duties, including upselling and promotions

- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, ensuring a positive experience

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently

- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed

- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

- Ensures tips are reported properly for tax processing.

- Attempts to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management of potential problem(s).

- One year of experience as a Server in a luxury setting preferred

- Knowledge of state and federal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages, must complete LA Responsible Alcohol Service Training

- Must obtain CPR certification

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, as well as working outside

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

- Ability to maintain high professionalism; treat others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position.
