We are currently searching for a Quality Control and Fulfillment Associate to join a team of smart creatives further expanding our ability to drive brand growth through product quality assurance and on time and accurate delivery of our product.
This role will report to the Director of Customer Service and Fulfillment to support the quality auditing of all KREWE products. The role is responsible for executing the inspection of inbound products directly from the factory and throughout the product lifecycle to ensure consistency. This position will play a critical role in upholding KREWE brand standards. Agility, a sharp attention to detail and a strong work ethic will play a critical part in the success of this role.
This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Quality inspections across all KREWE products to ensure compliance with established tolerance standards and technical specifications.
- Accurately document and maintain inspection results and activity in a timely manner, including detailed tracking of rejection reasons by SKU; adhere to defined escalation protocols for tolerance failures.
- Maintain files for inspection standards for current and future products when needed.
- Communicate quality issues, rejects and rework requirements to factory partners clearly and promptly. Assist in repackaging and shipping rework items and requesting credits where needed.
- Conduct ongoing audits of stored inventory to ensure product integrity is maintained overtime and continues to meet brand standards.
- Supports the inspection of disposition product and determines product grades.
- Maintain a highly organized QC workspace to ensure products are easily and readily identifiable and workflows with Fulfillment team are efficient. Maintains standards of organization and cleanliness throughout all workspaces.
- Ensure that defective and unusable products are properly documented and dispositioned in accordance with damaged goods procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership; escalate any questions to the manager in a timely and solutions-oriented manner.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and operational standards.
- Support additional projects and operational needs as required based on business demands.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to execute detail-oriented, repetitive tasks with high accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and a disciplined approach to process adherence
- Clear communicator who escalates issues proactively and early
- Comfortable working across multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to interpret product specifications, read technical drawings, and follow visual work instructions
- Ability to understand and use basic inspection tools
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. ERP and Project Management software experience is preferred.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time and able to lift/move product (up to 30 lbs)
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods based on needs of the business.
- Desire to be proactive and adhere to brand standards in a repetitive role
- Must have keen attention to detail and a strong regard for company quality standards
