About This Position

Senior Manager of Field Sales

OSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Field Sales who thrives on competition, growth, and building elite sales teams. This leader will oversee and grow a high-performing team of Field Sales Managers, who in turn will recruit, train, and coach Field Sales Representatives. The Senior Manager will be accountable for driving $7MM in revenue in year one, with a path to rapidly expand into a $50MM channel by scaling teams, improving sales execution, and ensuring best practices across the field organization.
The ideal candidate will be a sales driver and hands-on competitor with proven experience in building and leading multi-layered sales teams, creating impactful sales playbooks, utilizing systems to execute strong sales based on data, and delivering consistent revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Market Growth
  • Execute field sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue goals.
  • Understand the fundraising market and competitors, creating winning programs that drive market penetration.
  • Build and refine training and sales playbooks that standardize best practices across all teams.
Sales Performance & KPI Management
  • Define, implement, and track KPIs and metrics that ensure managers are effectively coaching their reps to ensure that all department sales goals are met.
  • Build promotions, contests, and recognition programs that motivate sales teams and customers.
  • Drive deep market penetration by ensuring reps maximize opportunities with each school or organization (multiple fundraisers, full product utilization, maximizing chocolate sales).
  • Contribute to sales forecasting accuracy by delivering timely and reliable performance data, pipeline updates, and insights that support senior leadership in revenue planning.
  • May provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership, summarizing sales trends, KPI results, and actionable insights drawn from dashboards and pipeline data.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, hire, train, and support high-performing Field Sales Managers.
  • Partner with the Training & Development team to create impactful, ongoing training for both managers and sales reps.
  • Guide managers through leadership challenges, building their skills to develop and retain top-performing reps.
  • Mentor Field Sales Managers on Salesforce best practices.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
  • Continuously improve processes and recommend systems/reporting tools to optimize sales tracking.
  • Introduce programs that capture competitor share and expand reach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Human Resources, Learning & Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to align on sales initiatives.
  • Ensure effective use of Salesforce within the team by establishing clear data-entry standards, training managers and representatives, and monitoring compliance to maintain accurate, actionable sales pipeline reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of sales leadership, with at least 5 years in a Senior Manager-level role leading multi-layered teams, including leading sales leaders.
  • Proven ability to hire, train, and scale field sales organizations to deliver aggressive revenue growth.
  • Strong background in sales operations, KPI management, and pipeline development.
  • Demonstrated success leading competitive, high-growth environments with clear revenue outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills with a hands-on, entrepreneurial style.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

  • Market Share: Competitive wins and customer retention.
  • Engagement: High employee satisfaction, strong 360° feedback, and culture alignment.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to: Senior Vice President US Fundraising Sales
LOCATION
Flexible U.S. locations, near a major airport, with preference for Central or Eastern time zones. Regular travel to customer meetings, trade shows, and our Chicago headquarters is required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Competitive base salary $131,000.00-$145,000.00 annually
