Technologist (US) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Our office is currently seeking an individual to join our team as an Ultrasound Technologist in one of our OB-GYN clinics at our Pierremont campus. The US tech must perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for the subsequent evaluation and treatment of patients. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: consistently demonstrating competency in performing all US techniques and exams. Special attention to obstetric, gynecological, including doppler and individual patient basis; maintaining records and data; and demonstrating competency in procedure preparation, operating all US equipment, selecting and modifying technical factors as needed. This position requires the individual to be a graduate of an approved school of radiologist technology required by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists licensed by the State of Louisiana and be eligible to meet board certification or registered in Abdominal/Obstetrical Gynecologist, as set forth by the Amercian Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or have a current ARRT and LSRT license.
