Remote Regional Sales Director
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Regional Sales Director - REMOTE. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new retirement plan sales through robust relationship management with financial advisors. Your efforts will significantly impact the growth and brand presence of the company in the Heartland territory. You will engage directly with clients while developing and implementing strategic plans tailored to meet local market needs. As a field-facing leader, your ability to cultivate trust and collaboration will be essential to achieving substantial annual sales targets and fostering a competitive environment.
Accountabilities- Strengthen brand and sales by managing relationships with retirement plan advisors.
- Prioritize in-person engagements to enhance advisor relationships.
- Build strong local relationships while strategically expanding into nearby metropolitan areas.
- Communicate with advisors to understand needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the Internal Sales Specialist for pipeline management.
- Partner with the Channel Sales team for follow-up on opportunities.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and presentations.
- Travel 20-30% for client meetings and company events.
- Meet or exceed an annual sales target of $350,000 - $400,000 in new business revenue.
- Expert-level knowledge of the retirement plan industry with 3+ years of sales experience.
- Understanding of retirement plan design, products, and investments.
- Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Resourceful, self-starting individual who works independently.
- Accountable, trustworthy, and a team player with a positive attitude.
- Experience in open-architecture 401(k) sales is a plus.
- Bachelors Degree and relevant certifications or willingness to attain.
