Position: Crisis Coordinator

Position Summary
Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Crisis Coordinator to assist individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises. This role focuses on helping consumers access needed psychiatric care in the least restrictive environment while supporting their safety, stability, and connection to services.
The Crisis Coordinator will respond to crisis situations, complete clinical assessments, and help connect individuals with the most appropriate level of care. This position works closely with the Center’s crisis team, community partners, hospitals, and other service providers to ensure coordinated support and continuity of care.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Services, or a related field
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Ability to perform crisis intervention techniques during consumer or staff crises
Must be available by phone and maintain an on-call phone as required
Ability to provide services during traditional and non-traditional hours
