The Automotive/Generator Mechanic performs repair, rebuild, and overhaul services on major components and assemblies for motor generators, automobiles, buses, trucks, and tractors. Duties include diagnosing mechanical issues; replacing worn or damaged parts; and performing preventive maintenance such as inspecting and servicing fluids, lubricants, and filtration systems. The position requires proficiency in the use of standard mechanical equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
