About This Position

Total Rewards Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Total Rewards Manager in Slovenia.
In this strategic role, you will lead and optimize long-term incentive (LTI) and total rewards programs that directly impact employee engagement and organizational growth. You will act as the subject matter expert for equity administration, cap table management, and compensation modeling, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scalability. Working closely with Finance and executive leadership, you will translate complex equity data into clear, actionable insights. This position offers a highly analytical yet business-facing scope, combining operational rigor with strategic advisory. You will thrive in a global, fast-paced, and remote-first environment where automation, precision, and ownership are highly valued. The role also provides the opportunity to contribute to broader compensation and benefits initiatives across the organization.
Accountabilities:
  • Own and manage the end-to-end administration of long-term incentive programs, including phantom or virtual stock plans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
  • Calculate interim and year-end share prices in collaboration with Finance, documenting and defending valuation methodologies when required.
  • Maintain the single source of truth for cap tables with full audit trails, reconciliations, and strict version control.
  • Oversee the full grant lifecycle, including eligibility, allocation, vesting schedules, adjustments, terminations, clawbacks, and buybacks.
  • Model capitalization scenarios such as new equity pools, fundraising rounds, secondaries, and M&A transactions, clearly quantifying dilution and employee impact.
  • Develop and automate advanced calculators and templates in Excel or Google Sheets to reduce manual processes and mitigate risk.
  • Prepare executive-ready reports and presentations for C-level leaders and shareholders, translating complex equity data into clear business narratives.
  • Support broader compensation and benefits initiatives, including KPI frameworks, organizational design, and rewards process automation during off-peak LTI cycles.

Requirements:
  • 23+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, with hands-on involvement in LTI cycles and equity-based reward programs.
  • Proven experience owning and maintaining cap tables, including reconciliations, modeling dilution, and managing grants, buybacks, and funding events.
  • Strong understanding of equity mechanics such as vesting schedules, cliffs, pro-rata calculations, dividend equivalents, and change-in-control scenarios.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including array formulas, XLOOKUP or INDEX-MATCH, scenario modeling, data validation, and automation best practices.
  • Ability to build defensible financial models and clearly explain methodologies to senior leadership and shareholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a structured, hands-on approach to maintaining accurate and reliable data.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex numerical concepts into executive-level insights.

Benefits:
  • Fully remote, full-time opportunity with flexible global collaboration.
  • 28 calendar days of paid vacation per year.
  • 7 additional wellness days annually for personal recovery and well-being.
  • Employee referral bonuses of up to $5,000 for successful hires.
  • 50% reimbursement for professional training, international conferences, and development programs.
  • Corporate discount for English language courses.
  • Health benefits package, including up to $1,000 gross per year reimbursement for medical expenses or private health insurance if corporate coverage is not applicable.
  • Workspace support, including fully equipped offices or co-working access, plus reimbursement of up to $1,000 gross every three years for home office setup or workspace rental.
  • Internal gamified recognition system with redeemable rewards, merchandise, and team-building experiences.
