Position Summary
The Recruiter Assistant supports the Human Resources team by assisting with the full-cycle recruitment administrative process. The ideal candidate will model and live our core values of Respect, Integrity, and Safety. This role helps coordinate interviews, maintain applicant records, communicate with candidates, and support onboarding activities. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively support a diverse workforce.
ConfidentialityMaintains strict confidentiality when handling sensitive candidate and employee information, including personal data, background checks, employment records, and compensation information. Ensures all information is managed in accordance with company policies and applicable privacy regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Support- Assist with posting job openings on job boards, company career pages, and recruiting platforms.
- Screen resumes and employment applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Communicate with applicants regarding interview details, hiring status, and next steps.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Organize candidate files, resumes, and interview notes.
- Assist with reference checks, background checks, and employment verification.
- Provide bilingual communication with candidates as needed.
- Maintain recruiting reports and hiring records.
- Assist with job fairs, hiring events, and recruiting campaigns.
- Prepare offer letters and employment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company hiring policies and procedures.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating new hire orientations.
- Ensure new hire paperwork is completed and properly filed.
- Support HR with onboarding processes and employee documentation.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of administrative, HR, or recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience in the construction industry or skilled trades recruiting is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Professional and customer-service oriented when interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
- Office-based position.
- Frequent interaction with HR staff, hiring managers, and field supervisors.
- May assist with recruiting for field positions such as technicians, installers, and skilled trades workers.
