We are seeking a Hospice Social Worker (MSW) who is interested in serving Good Sam in the New River Valley area.

Your Role as a Hospice Social Worker:
- Generous mileage reimbursement paid out bi-weekly.
- Provide emotional and psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Assist with advance care planning, counseling, and bereavement services.
- Coordinate community resources to help families navigate hospice care.
- Collaborate with nurses, chaplains, and other team members to provide holistic care.
- Advocate for patients’ needs and provide guidance through difficult transitions.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
- State licensure (LMSW or LCSW) preferred.
- 2 years of Experience in hospice, palliative care, or a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication, counseling, and advocacy skills.
- A heart for service and supporting others in their time of need.
