Discharge Assistant /Unit Clerk at Medical Center Hospital – Odessa, Texas

Position Summary:

The Oncology Navigator Assistant supports the Nursing Staff as well as the Case Managers to aide in safe and efficient transitions of care. They are responsible for coordination of information and communication in the office and nursing unit by performing clerical, receptionist, coordination duties, and maintains the physical environment of the area.

Education:

High School graduate or equivalent.

Training and Experience:

A minimum of one-year experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association upon hire or transfer to department.

Word and excel experience is preferred

Spanish language is preferred
