Sr DevOps Engineer in India at Jobgether

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling CI/CD pipelines that power infrastructure and platform engineering workflows in a modern cloud environment. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, automated, and efficient release processes across Azure-based systems and GitHub ecosystems. The position focuses on improving automation maturity, reducing manual intervention, and strengthening deployment quality at scale. You will work closely with engineering and platform teams to resolve complex pipeline issues and enhance system reliability. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will own end-to-end release orchestration and automation frameworks. It is ideal for a DevOps expert who thrives in fast-paced, cloud-native environments and enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges.

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for infrastructure and platform repositories.
• Develop and manage YAML-based workflows covering build, validation, testing, and deployment processes.
• Own the end-to-end release management lifecycle, including versioning, changelog automation, and coordination of releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex pipeline failures, performance issues, and deployment errors.
• Implement and enhance automated validation frameworks to ensure high-quality and reliable deployments.
• Improve automation efficiency by reducing manual processes and increasing pipeline scalability.
• Manage artifact publishing and distribution workflows across environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to resolve escalations and improve system stability.
• Contribute to governance and operations of repositories, including open-source workflow improvements where applicable.

• Strong expertise in GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and operations.
• Hands-on experience with YAML-based workflow development and automation scripting.
• Proven experience in release management, versioning strategies, and changelog automation.
• Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub ecosystems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex pipeline and infrastructure issues.
• Experience working with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Bicep is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and compliance automation.
• Experience with artifact management, publishing systems, and large-scale deployment workflows.
• Exposure to enterprise Azure environments and cloud infrastructure automation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional engineering teams.
