Job Description

Principal Solution Architect - ServiceNow

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Solution Architect - ServiceNow in Canada.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing architecture role focused on driving enterprise ServiceNow transformation initiatives for complex, high-value clients. You will operate at the intersection of pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, and strategic advisory, helping organizations design scalable digital workflows that deliver measurable business outcomes. Working closely with sales, delivery, and technology partners, you will shape solution strategy from early vision through to deal closure and successful handoff. This role blends deep technical expertise with executive-level communication, requiring the ability to translate business challenges into innovative ServiceNow-based solutions. You will also serve as a trusted advisor, thought leader, and mentor within the ecosystem, influencing both client strategy and internal capability development. This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for a senior architect who thrives in complex, fast-moving enterprise environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of ServiceNow-based solution architectures, including assessments, health checks, optimization strategies, and deployment roadmaps.
  • Drive strategic pre-sales engagements, including visioning sessions, solution alignment, and executive-level stakeholder discussions.
  • Partner with sales and delivery teams to define go-to-market approaches, scope engagements, and develop ROMs, SOWs, and technical proposals.
  • Deliver demonstrations and solution presentations that clearly articulate business value and technical feasibility.
  • Serve as a senior ServiceNow subject matter expert and provide mentorship to architects and sales engineering teams.
  • Develop thought leadership content, including whitepapers, presentations, and internal enablement materials.
  • Maintain advanced certifications and continuous learning within the ServiceNow and partner ecosystem.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences as a technical and strategic thought leader.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to advise clients on innovation, compliance, and competitive positioning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience delivering, architecting, or selling complex enterprise technology solutions (or 14+ years in lieu of degree).
  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, solutions, and service offerings.
  • Strong experience in pre-sales engineering and enterprise solution design.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional sales cycles in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong track record of designing and delivering revenue-generating technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching technical and sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation initiatives and enterprise IT environments.
  • Nice to have: Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
  • Nice to have: Experience defining go-to-market strategies or leading solution/product development in professional services.
  • Nice to have: Industry recognition or domain expertise in sectors such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, or retail.
  • Strong curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to adopt AI-driven tools and workflows as part of modern solution design and innovation.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work model.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with senior-level expertise.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact enterprise digital transformation programs.
  • Exposure to strategic pre-sales and solution leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong professional growth through certifications, conferences, and continuous learning.
  • Opportunity to build thought leadership and external industry presence.
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven environment focused on modern technologies including AI.
