This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact engineering teams building modern front-end and API-driven solutions in the mortgage technology space. You will shape the evolution of a cloud-hosted SaaS platform that supports complex lending workflows at scale, directly influencing product adoption and customer experience. Acting as both a technical leader and people manager, you will guide distributed teams working across front-end development, QA, and business analysis. The environment is fast-paced, agile, and highly collaborative, with strong emphasis on automation, scalability, and continuous delivery. You will partner closely with business and technology leaders to define strategy, prioritize initiatives, and deliver measurable outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role combining architectural influence, team development, and delivery ownership across modern cloud and web technologies.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end software development activities across distributed teams, including front-end engineers, QA, and business analysts, ensuring high-quality delivery of scalable SaaS solutions.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define product roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and translate strategic goals into actionable development plans.
  • Oversee architecture and development of Azure-hosted services, APIs, and modern front-end applications using Angular and Microsoft-based technologies.
  • Manage full lifecycle delivery including scoping, estimation, planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Drive engineering excellence through CI/CD practices, automated testing, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate risks, costs, and technical trade-offs while ensuring alignment with business value and long-term platform scalability.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, supporting career growth, technical decision-making, and adherence to best practices.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of software development experience, including at least 1+ year in a technical leadership or management role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Angular (12+) and modern front-end development (TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS/SCSS).
  • Deep understanding of front-end architecture patterns such as component-driven design, modular systems, and micro-frontend approaches.
  • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services in .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, and SQL Server environments.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance SaaS and cloud-based applications on Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing remote and cross-functional teams, with strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary range approximately $160,000–$192,500 annually depending on experience and location
  • Annual profit-sharing bonus program eligibility
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Life insurance and short/long-term disability coverage
  • Paid vacation (minimum 10 days), sick leave, and paid holidays plus personal days
  • Flexible remote work environment within the United States
  • Inclusive workplace culture emphasizing autonomy, growth, and technical excellence
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-critical SaaS platforms in a high-growth environment.
