Regional Sales Director

This role is focused on driving revenue growth and strengthening long-term client relationships within a defined regional territory in the U.S. Northeast. The Regional Sales Director acts as the primary point of contact for an established customer base, helping organizations adopt and expand next-generation telecom, cloud, data center, and managed services solutions. This position blends strategic account management with hands-on sales execution, requiring strong consultative skills and deep technical understanding of modern IT services. You will work closely with strategic partners and internal sales teams to retain clients, grow accounts, and identify new business opportunities. The role is highly client-facing, centered on delivering value through technology advisory, solution alignment, and ongoing relationship management. It is well-suited for a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, partner-led ecosystem.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and grow a defined portfolio of existing and new clients within the regional territory.
  • Drive revenue growth by upselling and cross-selling telecom, cloud, data center, and managed service solutions.
  • Collaborate with strategic partner teams and internal stakeholders to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
  • Conduct regular business and technology reviews to identify client needs and new opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver sales proposals, RFP responses, and customized solution presentations.
  • Coordinate client meetings, workshops, and demand generation activities to support pipeline growth.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and stay informed on evolving technology offerings.
  • Track opportunities, renewals, and revenue performance using CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • Support deal execution through pricing requests, contract preparation, and internal coordination.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in telecom, cloud, data center, or managed services.
  • Strong understanding of “as-a-service” models and enterprise technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive account growth in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with CRM tools and standard business software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to translate client needs into tailored technical and commercial solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
