  • Maintain dashboards, monitoring systems, and reporting tools to track service health, performance, and availability.
  • Contribute to documentation standards, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of operational processes.
  • Support secure system operations aligned with compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53.
  • Mentor junior IT operations staff and promote best practices in service delivery and support operations.
Requirements:
  • 6–10 years of experience in IT operations, service desk, platform support, or related technical environments.
  • Active US DoD Secret clearance and current Security+ certification are required.
  • Strong experience with cloud environments (AWS GovCloud preferred) and Linux administration (preferably Red Hat).
  • Hands-on expertise with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or Remedy), including SLA and workflow management.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash or similar) for automation of operational tasks and system support.
  • Experience managing platform tools such as GitLab, Slack, and Mattermost in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of NIST 800-53 security controls and compliance-driven operations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams in complex, security-sensitive environments.
  • Experience in DevSecOps or developer platform support environments is highly valued.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary range: $119,853 – $149,817 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Fully remote, distributed work environment with flexible scheduling
  • Comprehensive health coverage with employer-paid premiums (up to 100% employee, 80% dependent coverage depending on pay band)
