This role is a high-impact opportunity to build and scale the soft home sourcing function from the ground up, shaping supplier networks and category strategy across key home essentials. You will focus on developing strong manufacturing partnerships and expanding sourcing capabilities in categories such as bedding, rugs, mattresses, and window treatments. Operating in a fast-scaling, data-driven retail environment, you will play a central role in improving product quality, cost efficiency, and speed to market. The position requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, with direct influence on supply chain performance and product success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing aligns with business growth and customer expectations. This is a unique opportunity to design scalable sourcing systems that support a modern, tech-enabled retail model focused on transparency and value.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for building and managing a scalable sourcing ecosystem for soft home categories while driving supplier performance and operational excellence. You will:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendor partners across North America capable of delivering high-quality soft home products with competitive lead times.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, ensuring alignment on quality standards, cost targets, and scalability requirements.
  • Lead supplier performance management to improve product quality, reduce costs, and optimize commercial terms.
  • Manage production capacity planning at both supplier and product levels to support business growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing faster, more efficient workflows.
  • Expand and diversify the supplier base to reduce risk and improve resilience across categories.
  • Act as a key liaison between suppliers and internal teams to ensure alignment on product development and execution.
Requirements

You bring deep expertise in sourcing, merchandising, and supply chain management within home softline categories, combined with strong commercial and analytical skills. You have:

  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, or category management, ideally within home soft goods or related retail sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier ecosystems in bedding, rugs, mattresses, or similar categories.
  • Proven ability to build and scale vendor relationships in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with attention to detail and operational rigor.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a high-growth environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and resilience.
  • Based in the United States or Latin America, with willingness to travel periodically to supplier locations.
